About.
Dave Qasim is a filmmaker, live streamer, and educator with over a decade of experience working across language, culture, and visual storytelling. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at the University of Delaware, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, along with a TEFL certification from the University of Toronto.
Dave has taught English internationally, including a full year teaching adult learners in Beijing, China, and is widely recognized for his work as the Face and Voice of HelloTalk, where he has built a global audience through live streaming, language education, and cultural exchange.
Beyond teaching, Dave is a longtime visual creator and filmmaker. He is known for producing early first-person motorcycle and travel films, including some of the earliest documented helmet-mounted audio-visual motorcycle footage recorded in Yemen, preserved through an extensive archive on his original YouTube channel. His work blends documentary realism with personal storytelling, grounded in years of hands-on experience with cameras, audio recording, and professional video editing.
Today, Dave continues to create short-form films and live content focused on culture, education, travel, and human stories, shaped by years of cross-cultural experience and global movement.
